Amy - Office Manager
Amy is the Practice Manager for Dr Schmitt and Dr Ramos. She has quite a bit of experience, having worked as a dental practice manager for more than 30 years. She earned her Bachelors of Healthcare Administration and her Masters of Healthcare Administration and Masters of Leadership degrees in Phoenix, Arizona. She has proudly worked for Schmitt Prosthodontics since 2018.
Amy finds great satisfaction in helping patients obtain their healthy, happy smile. "Dental care makes such a profound difference in patient's lives. We are fortunate to be part of the process that helps our patients achieve the smile that they desire."
When not at the office, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dogs. She and her family relocated to Florida from the west coast in 2014, and she has enjoyed discovering all that Florida has to offer. She enjoys beach time, watching the wildlife, discovering new towns, and as much time at Disney as possible!
Jacqueline - Dental Assistant
Jacqueline is Dr. Schmitt's Dental Assistant. She has been in general dentistry for over 21 years. She earned her Expanded Function Dental Assistant certificate in 1991 and her CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) from the Dental Assisting National Board in 2003. She has been with Dr. Schmitt since 2012.
Jacqueline's favorite part of her job is observing the transformation of lives by improving their patient's smiles and creating healthy mouths. "We are here to give our patient's the best dental experience possible." Jacqueline's dedication to each individual patient is an indispensable aspect of our philosophy. Jacqueline's expertise provides each patient with the comfort of being at the right specialty dental practice.
During our time away from the office, Jacqueline enjoys cooking, running and coffee with friends. Jacqueline has developed a passion for water sports. Her love of the beach and nature make her time away from the office enjoyable and fulfilling. Jacqueline is a travel enthusiast, always selecting a destination where she and her family can relax and absorb the local energy. She is married with a teenage son.
Christine - Dental Assistant
Christine is a dental assistant. She has worked in the dental field since 2000. She worked in the front office for 10 years, then transitioned into the back office and became a dental assistant 13 years ago. She recently relocated to Florida from Long Island, New York, and has been with our practice since 2023.
Christine loves working in the dental office. She finds it rewarding to make patients feel comfortable and to help ease any anxiety they may be feeling. Christine’s easy manner and caring touch will help you feel right at home!
During her free time, Christine loves to be outside where she enjoys gardening and swimming with her husband and two daughters.
Emily - Dental Assistant
Emily is a dental assistant for Dr Ramos and Dr Schmitt. She received her dental assisting certificate in expanded functions in 2017. She has experience working at the front desk, but most enjoys working in the back office with her team. Emily is skilled in assisting with a variety of dental procedures, and she works hard to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Emily prides herself in providing compassionate care to her patients.
Emily finds great satisfaction in connecting with patients, and making sure they are always treated with the best care. “I’ve been in the patient chair, so I understand when a patient is comfortable and relaxed enough to say to me, 'I’m so glad you’re here, I couldn’t do this without you’ I appreciate those words so much. Our patient’s gratitude says it all."
When Emily is not in the office she enjoys traveling to new places and trying out new restaurants with her friends. She also loves going to theme parks with her son.
Maria - Front Desk Admin
Patients will interact with her when they schedule an appointment in person or by telephone. Maria has been dedicated to Dr.
Schmitt and Dr Ramos for several months, and we are so excited to have her join our team! Maria brings more than 18 years of dental experience with her to this position, and she is more than capable of helping in any way she can. She is very conscientious and passionate about helping people.
"I love how we treat all of our patients - the way I would want to be treated," she adds. "I think we have a unique relationship with our patients, our entire team goes out of its way to give everyone the best possible experience".
Maria is happily married with four beautiful children. She is an excellent baker and enjoys spending time with her family, brother and sister in Christ.
